You spend five minutes on a Sunday. The rest of the week, your kids and the AI handle it.
One 15-minute walkthrough when the house is clean. That becomes the gold standard — your standard, not ours. Then assign chores however you like: just snap a pic of the mess, or point and talk ("this needs doing today"), and the AI writes the chore card. No cameras needed, no special hardware — your phone is enough. Got Ring, Arlo, or Nest? Connect them and they'll spot messes for you, suggested for your one-tap approval.
Every chore has a deadline the app enforces cheerfully — the nagging is our job now, not yours. Kid taps done (or snaps a status pic with our optional Cam Glasses), the AI compares against your clean-house photo at your kid's age level. Done gets credit. Late gets partial. The whole house hears the payday chime — and the doom trombone when money slips away.
Percentage of chores done × your set allowance = what your kid earned. Not Chores charges your card and sends the money to your kid's account (or back to yours to hand over). Fee: 10% of what your kid earned. That's it.
Not Chores is not a bank. We do not hold your allowance. We do not custody your kid's balance. We do not earn interest on your dollars.
No monthly bill. No annual plan. No free trial to remember to cancel. We only make money when your kid does — and only 10 cents on every dollar they earn.
Between chores, your kid can play AR hide-and-seek with two little pets — Plato and Roxy — that they dress up, level up, and just hang out with. Included free, always. Because if the app is only about chores, kids will only open it for chores.

You have the final word. Every AI decision shows up in your parent review feed with the before-and-after photos and the AI's reasoning. If you disagree, one tap flips it. Over time, Not Chores learns your household's actual standards from your corrections.
When it's time to pay out, Not Chores triggers a single Stripe Connect transfer. Your card is charged (kid's earnings + our 10% fee), and the kid's earnings land in the account you designated for them — your own account, their custodial bank account, a co-parent's account. We never hold the money in between.
Roughly 4 through 14. There are four difficulty tiers — Sprout (4-6), Helper (7-9), Pro (10-12), Chief (13+) — and each one changes how strictly the AI grades the work. A Sprout gets credit for pulling the covers up. A Chief has to actually make the bed. You can override per kid or per chore.
You flip a switch. Not Chores does nothing that week. You pay nothing that week. When you're back, you resume where you left off. Aligned incentives.
Photos of your child's rooms only leave the device long enough to be checked by the AI, then are deleted from our servers within 24 hours. We do not train AI on your family's images. You can turn on "on-device only" mode and no photos are sent to the cloud at all (with slightly reduced accuracy). No cameras run in the background.
The AI is calibrated to be lenient on effort but strict on obvious cheats — wrong angle, blurry photo, different room, an image not matching the chore. You still see every AI call in your review feed and can override any of them.
iPhone and Android, from day one. On newer phones you get the full AR experience with floating chore markers; on older hand-me-down phones everything still works in photo mode — chores, deadlines, the money meter, the sounds, all of it. If your kid's phone has a camera, it works.
Optional $99 camera glasses for kids — 2K camera, 12-hour battery, water resistant. Tap the frame to snap a status pic that attaches straight to the chore, hands-free. Built-in safety rails: no continuous recording, a visible recording light, and they only work on your home Wi-Fi — never at school. Totally optional; phones work fine.
No. Not Chores is just the chore + payout layer. If your kid already has a Greenlight, Chase First Banking, GoHenry, or similar account, you set that as their destination and payouts land there. If they don't, payouts go to your account and you hand over cash — same as before, just fair.
